Olympic National Park > San Francisco > Steamboat Springs... what a week!

Some of us had a hell of a week last week! (Me)  With taking the visitors from Los Angeles camping in the Olympic National Forest, traveling to San Francisco for work and then rolling onto Steamboat Springs for the wedding of one Matthew Lieber, it was quite the busy week for me.

It was a rare week that I was able to see a good portion of my friends from LA, San Francisco and Michigan all within the span of 10 days.  It's amazing that so much time can pass between seeing your friends and loved ones and yet it feels like no time has passed at all.  I am very greatful (#blessed) for the time I was able to spend with everyone during this crazy week of travel.  It goes without saying that this trip on trip on trip craziness will probably never happen again, so the short term exhaustion was well worth it.

To friends!

All the Foursquare/Swarm Check Ins!

This is what 9,000+ check ins to a social media platform looks likes over the past 6 years. Super fun times have been had in most of these locations.  Zoom out to get the entire picture and zoom in to click on the map pins for specific location information.

August days in Seattle

Just another August Saturday in Seattle.  Taking a few minutes to soak in the view as summer will be over before you know it and the chill of fall will soon fill the air.  Get it while you can I guess.

Find Yours

Working for a company who's advertiting slogan is "Find Yours" I have tried to do just that in my life, adopting it as a personal mission statement over the past two years.  I've challenged myself to go someplace different every month and adventure to places which in the past I'd never had thought to go to or see.  I probably am doing a bad job on the diversity of places as California tends to get a lot of my visitations, but I am always looking to find something new, try some place different to see as much as I can.  There's so much more to do, so many more new friends to make and a lot of life to live.  These are exciting times.

October 2014: The Travel Continues

In the last few weeks I've been lucky enough to travel to several places and re-unite with friends that I haven't seen for some time. First up this month was Los Angeles, CA.

Having a free weekend and cheap airplane ticket, rather than hang out in the rainy Pacific Northwest; I chose to visit the friends in sunny Southern California and in doing so I attained the worst sunburn for a guy who only sees about 62 days of sun per year.  However as you can see below I made the right choice that weekend despite the amazing sunburn that carried around for a few weeks.  In making this trip I was able to reconnect with a few friends that I havent seen in a few years and hang out with sweet boy Marc! Win Win Win.

Turning around just one week later, Sam and I embarked on a work trip to London, England. Having already spent some time in London, I stayed away from the touristy type things and focused on getting to know the local area in and around my hotel and the Expedia office.  Needless to say there were a few bars that we became quite acquainted with during the week.  Had a wonderful week bonding with current co workers and meeting folks who've I worked with for quite some time now, but have never met in person. Also during this trip I was able to reconnect with Laura and finally meet Marilena whom I had worked with for years but was never able to meet in person until now.   All in all afun week of travel!
